Electrifly-In Switzerland - Edition 2024

Flying into (the) future – Newsdays on aircraft with alternative propulsion systems

The Electrifly-In Switzerland will be held for the third time at Bern Airport / Federal Base on September 6-8, 2024. Some highlights await the spectators and we are looking forward to the presentation of well-known companies with their projects and aircraft.

Admission prices: CHF 10.-   (Children and juveniles up to 18 years free of charge)

The entrance fee includes the eTalk & the symposium.

Food & Beverages

Catering facilities are located at the main entrance.

Bratwursts and Thai curry vegetarian or chicken are available at the food stand, as well as mineral water, beer, wine and coffee.

eTeaser Flights

During the Electrifly-in, eTeaser flights in a Pipistrel Velis electro will be offered on both days. Booking in the “Super Constellation tent” for CHF 100. The eFlights will be flown by experienced flight instructors and take about 30 minutes each, including preparation. The flight route varies depending on weather conditions and traffic load.

How to get there

Free e-shuttle service

from Belp train station, Bern Airport terminal and all parking lots offered by KIA Switzerland. Pick-up points are marked with a black KIA beach flag or a blue “Electrifly-In Switzerland” beach flag.

Public transport

Parking spaces at Bern Airport are limited. Please use public transport.

Private transport

Please pay attention to the signalization and use only the designated parking spaces.  

By aircraft

Bern Airport waives landing fees for all electric and hybrid aircraft. As a pilot, please inform yourself about the procedures via the official publications.

Safety at the airport

During the two-day event, normal air traffic will also continue at the airport. Please respect the restricted areas and follow the instructions of the security staff.

Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited within the Bern Airport premises.
