Flying into (the) future – Newsdays on aircraft with alternative propulsion systems

The Electrifly-In Switzerland will be held for the fourth time at Bern Airport / Federal Base on September 12-14, 2025. Some highlights await the spectators and we are looking forward to the presentation of well-known companies with their projects and aircraft.

  • Admission prices: CHF 10.- (Children and juveniles up to 18 years free of charge)
  • The entrance fee includes the eTalk & the symposium.

A festival restaurant is located at the main entrance. There’s a selection of food stalls, as well as mineral water, beer, wine, and coffee.

  • Free eShuttle service: from Belp train station, the Bern Airport terminal, and all parking lots offered by KIA Switzerland. Pick-up points are marked with a black KIA beach flag or a blue “Electrifly-In Switzerland” beach flag.

    • Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
    • Saturday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
    • Sunday from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM

  • Public transport: Parking at Bern Airport is limited. Please use public transport.
    SBB Timetable and bus connection to Bern Airport.
  • Private transport: Please observe the signage and use only the designated parking spaces.
  • Airplane: Bern Airport waives landing fees for all electric, hybrid, and hydrogen aircraft. Pilots should inform themselves about the procedures via the official publications.

Safety at the airport

Normal air traffic will continue at the airport during the two-day event. Please respect the cordoned-off areas and follow the instructions of the security personnel.

Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited within the Bern Airport grounds.
