Flying into (the) future – Newsdays on aircraft with alternative propulsion systems

The Electrifly-In Switzerland will be held for the third time at Bern Airport / Federal Base on September 6-8, 2024. Some highlights await the spectators and we are looking forward to the presentation of well-known companies with their projects and aircraft.

  • Admission prices: CHF 10.- (Children and juveniles up to 18 years free of charge)
  • The entrance fee includes the eTalk & the symposium.

There is a food stand at the main entrance. Bratwurst and Thai curry are available with vegetarian or chicken options, as well as mineral water, beer, wine and coffee.

  • Free eShuttle service: from Belp railway station, Bern Airport Terminal and all car parks, provided by KIA Switzerland. Pick-up points are marked with a black KIA beach flag or a blue ‘Electrifly-In Switzerland’ beach flag.
    To order and make arrangements, please call 079 431 55 15.
  • Public transport: Parking spaces at Bern Airport are limited. Please use public transport.
    SBB timetable and bus connection to Bern Airport.
  • Individual transport: Please follow the signs and only use the designated parking spaces.
  • Aircraft: Bern Airport waives landing fees for all electric, hybrid and hydrogen-powered aircraft. As a pilot, please refer to the official publications for information on the procedures.

Safety at the airport

Normal air traffic will continue at the airport during the two-day event. Please respect the cordoned-off areas and follow the instructions of the security personnel.

Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited within the Bern Airport grounds.
