The tension for the seventh edition is rising
The symposium on the Norwegian electric seaplane project "NoEmi" will kick off on Saturday, 9 September 2023 at 9.30 a.m., the starting signal for the Electrifly-In Switzerland will be given at the Swiss Air Force base at Bern Airport. The public event will open at 11.30 a.m. with speeches by Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin, Bernese Cantonal Councillor Christoph Ammann and BKW CEO Robert Itschner. The event will also feature an exciting exhibition and interesting talks, as well as the opportunity for e-taster flights.

Exciting facts about sustainability
|
The heart of the event, the Fly-In, will be highlighted by a top-class symposium at the weekend: Exciting presentations from the German Aerospace Centre, the winners of the Sustainable Aviation Awards 2023 Kasaero HYFLY, electric aircraft manufacturer Pie Aeronefs, Zuri and the developers of H55 electric propulsion systems await. The range of exhibits will be complemented by the exhibitors in the hangar of the federal base. Various national and international development teams will be presenting their projects and services here. Swiss International Air Lines will be presenting sustainability projects such as Sustainable Aviation Fuel and AeroSHARK. In addition, Switzerland's largest airline presents projects related to pilot training together with Lufthansa Aviation Training Switzerland. Furthermore, BKW presents the BelpmoosSolar project, currently the largest planned free-field solar plant in Switzerland. The eTalk, another permanent feature of the Electrifly-In Switzerland and moderated by Alex Miescher, will address the question "How long will it take and what will it take before Private Pilot Licence training can be conducted purely electrically?" The panel features interesting guests from a wide range of aviation fields.

A variety of entertainment for young and old
|
In addition to interesting flight demonstrations, visitors have the unique opportunity to experience flying from the pilot's perspective. Experienced flight instructors are on hand to accompany them on e-taster flights into the fascinating world of the skies. For the youngest guests, there is a mini Tesla course specially designed for them. Here, children can live out their enthusiasm for technology and locomotion while steering the small electric vehicles through the course. Finally, the eTrophy awards ceremony will take place on Sunday afternoon with National Councillor Jürg Grossen: the prize for the pilot who has flown the longest distance to Bern in purely electric, hybrid or self launching glider mode.

Die Spannung für die siebte Ausgabe steigt
Mit dem Symposium zum norwegischen Elektro-Wasserflugzeug-Projekt "NoEmi" fällt am Samstag, 9. September 2023 um 9.30 Uhr der Startschuss für das Electrifly-In Switzerland auf der Bundesbasis der Luftwaffe am Bern Airport. Der öffentliche Anlass wird um 11.30 Uhr mit den Ansprachen von Bundesrat Guy Parmelin, dem Berner Regierungsrat Christoph Ammann und BKW CEO Robert Itschner eröffnet. Weiter überzeugt die Veranstaltung mit einer spannenden Ausstellung und interessanten Talks sowie der Möglichkeit für Schnupperflüge.

Spannendes rund um Nachhaltigkeit

Das Herzstück der Veranstaltung, das Fly-In, wird mit einem hochkarätig besetzten Symposium am Wochenende untermalt: Es winken spannende Referate des Deutschen Zentrums für Luft- und Raumfahrt, den Gewinnern des Sustainable Aviation Awards 2023 Kasaero HYFLY, Elektroflugzeug-Hersteller Pie Aeronefs, Zuri und den Entwicklern elektrischer Antriebssysteme H55. Ergänzt wird das Angebot durch die Ausstellenden im Hangar der Bundesbasis. Verschiedene nationale und internationale Entwicklerteams zeigen hier ihre Projekte und Leistungen auf. Dabei präsentiert Swiss International Air Lines Nachhaltigkeitsprojekte wie Sustainable Aviation Fuel und AeroSHARK. Zudem stellt die grösste Airline der Schweiz gemeinsam mit Lufthansa Aviation Training Switzerland Projekte in Bezug auf die Pilotenausbildung vor. Weiter präsentiert die BKW das Projekt BelpmoosSolar, die derzeit grösste geplante Freiflächen-Solaranlage in der Schweiz. Der eTalk, ein weiterer fester Bestandteil des Electrifly-In Switzerland und moderiert von Alex Miescher, behandelt die Frage "Wie lange dauert es noch und was braucht es, bis die Ausbildung zur Private Pilot Licence rein elektrisch durchgeführt werden kann?" Das Podium ist mit spannenden Gästen aus unterschiedlichsten Bereichen der Aviatik bestückt.

Vielfältige Unterhaltung für Jung und Alt

Nebst interessanten Flugvorführungen haben Besuchende die einzigartige Möglichkeit, das Fliegen aus der Pilotenperspektive zu erleben. Erfahrene Fluglehrer stehen bereit, um sie bei eSchnupperflügen in die faszinierende Welt der Lüfte zu begleiten. Für die jüngsten Gäste gibt es einen speziell für sie konzipierten Mini-Tesla-Parcours. Hier können Kinder ihre Begeisterung für Technologie und Fortbewegung ausleben, während sie die kleinen elektrischen Fahrzeuge durch den Parcours lenken. Zum Abschluss findet am Sonntagnachmittag die Siegerehrung der eTrophy mit Nationalrat Jürg Grossen statt: die Auszeichnung für Pilot:innen, welche die längste Strecke rein elektrisch, hybrid oder als selbststartende Segelflieger nach Bern geflogen sind.

Die Veranstaltenden empfehlen für die Anreise die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel oder die Nutzung der kostenlosen Shuttle-Fahrzeuge, welche auf Abruf ab dem Bahnhof Belp, dem Terminal Bern Airport und ab den Parkplätzen des Flughafens zum Gelände fahren.

La tension monte pour la septième édition
Avec le symposium sur le projet norvégien d'hydravion électrique "NoEmi", le samedi, 9 septembre 2023 à 9h30, le coup d'envoi de l'Electrifly-In Switzerland sera donné sur la base fédérale des Forces aériennes à l'aéroport de Berne. La manifestation publique s'ouvrira à 11h30 par les allocutions du conseiller fédéral Guy Parmelin, du conseiller d'Etat bernois Christoph Ammann et du CEO BKW Robert Itschner. La manifestation proposera également une exposition passionnante, des discussions intéressantes et la possibilité d'effectuer des vols d'initiation.

Le développement durable, un sujet passionnant
|
Le cœur de la manifestation, le Fly-In, sera ponctué par un symposium de haut niveau qui se tiendra le week-end: des exposés passionnants du Centre allemand pour l'aéronautique et l'aérospatiale, du gagnant du ‘Sustainable Aviation Award 2023’ Kasaero HYFLY, des constructeurs d'avions électriques Pie Aeronefs, Zuri et des développeurs de systèmes de propulsion électrique H55 sont prévus. L'offre sera complétée par les exposants dans le hangar de la base fédérale. Différentes équipes de développement nationales et internationales y présenteront leurs projets et leurs prestations. Swiss International Air Lines y présentera des projets de développement durable tels que Sustainable Aviation Fuel et AeroSHARK. En outre, la plus grande compagnie aérienne de Suisse présente, en collaboration avec Lufthansa Aviation Training Switzerland, des projets relatifs à la formation des pilotes. BKW présentera également le projet BelpmoosSolar, la plus grande installation solaire au sol actuellement prévue en Suisse. L'eTalk, autre élément fixe de l'Electrifly-In Switzerland et animé par Alex Miescher, abordera la question suivante: "Combien de temps faudra-t-il encore attendre et que faudra-t-il pour que la formation à la Private Pilot Licence puisse être dispensée de manière purement électrique ?" La table ronde accueillera des invités passionnants des domaines les plus divers de l'aviation.

Divertissement varié pour jeunes et moins jeunes
|
Outre des démonstrations de vol intéressantes, les visiteurs ont la possibilité unique de découvrir le vol depuis la perspective d'un pilote. Des instructeurs de vol expérimentés se tiendront à disposition pour les accompagner dans le monde fascinant des airs lors de vols d'initiation. Pour les plus jeunes, un parcours Mini-Tesla a été spécialement conçu pour eux. Les enfants pourront y exprimer leur enthousiasme pour la technologie et la locomotion tout en conduisant les petits véhicules électriques à travers le parcours. Pour terminer, dimanche après-midi la cérémonie de remise des prix de l'eTrophy aura lieu avec le conseiller national Jürg Grossen. Elle récompensera les pilotes ayant parcouru la plus longue distance jusqu'à Berne en mode électrique, hybride ou les planeurs à décollage automatique.
